My daughters and I always enjoyed making things. We would make our own
greeting cards for birthdays, etc., we always made our own Halloween
costumes and would put things that we had around the house together for
whatever purpose we needed. That's where the handmade candles and soaps
came from for our little business. Also, I’ve always loved vintage and
antique things and love I the history of people, places and things
and enjoy imagining how people would live day to day in old houses (old
to us), using the vintage or antique items I came across. Over
the years I have collected such items and sold some of them here and
there. We have dreamed of having our own space to sell handmade wares
along with vintage, antique or just awesomely unique pieces. One
day, about 8 or so years ago, while browsing around at Melville Trading
(now Sweet Grace Market at Melville Trading), I learned a space was
available for rent inside the store. I decided, along with my youngest
daughter, this would be the perfect place for us to "land." So here we
are, our 2 little combined businesses in one, '7 Horse Feathers' and "CL
Creations.' Come check out our all natural, clean, vegan, non-toxic and
non-carcinogenic candles and soaps along with those "vintage, antique or just awesomely unique pieces!"

Hi! I’m Chris, the dealer with Dragonfly Trail. I shop and sell at antique festivals and have the booth here. For years I have enjoyed hunting for fun and clever vintage and collectible items and am pleased to serve the Mebane community by making them available at Sweet Grace. It is ideal being here is a location with so many other wonderful and creative booths!
The selection includes of course many types of vintage items including McCoy and Royal Doulton pottery, fine crystal, fun coffee mugs, interesting wood boxes, framed prints and original artwork, hand-crafted items including items created by artists and hand turned pottery. And a lot of just fun stuff!
There is a selection of home decorating books, collectors reference books, travel book, local interest books and children’s books. There is also and line of clever and humorous tins signs, which are made in the USA. So, come in and browse the booth to see what it new and what catches your eye as your newest “Thrill of the hunt!”

My husband, Kenneth, and I have had a booth at Sweet Grace Market / Melville Trading Company since it opened in May 2010. We love having unique, old collectibles in our booth. I started painting watercolors twenty years ago. I love painting and I love having a place to sell note cards, prints and framed prints from my original watercolors.

Since I was a small child playing in my Granny’s cedar chest, I have loved all things vintage! I’ve collected dinnerware, glassware, vases, lady’s gloves and hats, and so much more! About 10 years ago, as I was looking for an outlet for my career stress, I opened my first tiny little space at The Treasure House in Burlington. The space grew over time into a very nice booth. I also had a spot in Do Overs, a small shop in Mebane, until it too closed.
With the closure of The Treasure House, I moved to a small spot in Consignment Connection, and finally ended up at Melville, all the while dragging my much-loved vintage items with me. My booth, as its name indicates, is mostly made up of vintage items, but there are also new bits and pieces also. I hope to encourage folks to think about buying and using vintage items. It is the ultimate recycle, after all. Most of the goods are of a better quality than what we buy now. Rather than see them in a landfill, I say take them out and use them! Add to their story!

Dabbling with wood most of my life after being taught the basics by my grandfather at the age of twelve, I decided to make it a full-time hobby after retiring from state government. All of my careers involved creating new things and I have continued that trend by creating custom and unique designs from raw wood as well as repurposed furniture.
Categories include: outdoor furniture, home decor, sports/games, concealment furniture, and epoxy/wood art.

After many years working in the medical field, I decided to take the chance and venture into a new career. My creations are a collaborative endeavor between my son and myself. Boo helps me by experimenting on color combinations. He also provides input on designs.
The name of my line is an homage to my father, who dubbed Mthe name Zsa-Zsa. It is also an acknowledgment to the primary reason I took the leap to take this path, our son.
