In May 2020, amid the tumultuous onset of the pandemic, Sister-in-law's Diana Parker and Celeste Parker joined forces to inaugurate Sweet Grace Market. Then, in 2021, upon learning of the imminent retirement plans of Melville Trading Co.'s proprietors, we saw an opportunity. We presented the notion of assuming ownership of their beloved business, which they had dedicated their lives to nurturing for over a decade. Thus, Sweet Grace Market at Melville Trading Co. was brought to life.
In early 2023, Diana made the decision to step back from the business to embark on more travel adventures, thereby leaving Celeste as the sole owner of Sweet Grace Market at Melville Trading Co.

Situated in the charming downtown area of Mebane, NC, we operate as a multi-vendor specialty boutique, offering an array of unique gifts, home décor items, and creatively repurposed antique furniture. Our shop prides itself on its carefully curated selection, ensuring that each visit promises the discovery of something special.
